Operation: Messy Closets COMPLETE

Yesterday was a magical day. I completed more of my To Do list than I had hoped I would! I not only tackled my sewing closet and put it back in order, but I also organized my storage space into a decent little food storage area! PLUS, I cleaned my bathroom, kitchen, and bedroom. PLUS, I did dishes, AND folded and put away two loads of laundry. I did all of that before my 6pm deadline! Getting lots of things done is one way to brighten a glum winter mood. So what's on my list today?

  1. Bake bread
  2. Make laundry detergent (That's right folks! Homemade laundry detergent! I'll post my recipe for it later!)
  3. Walk to the public library (I haven't left my home for 2 days! I need to get out!)
  4. Start scanning my Grandma's letters to my Grandpa during WWII

I should post my bread recipe as well as the laundry detergent recipe. I'm not sure what I'll find at the library, but getting out will be good for me.

I've been wanting to make copies of my grandma's letter for a long time, so that I can share them with family. However I haven't had the technology or time to do so until now. My parents got a new scanner/printer and gave us the old one. The new laptop, isn't compatible with the scanner, but my old laptop is.... hopefully all will work for me. If not, well, I still have access to the computers and scanners on campus. I really want to get going on this project.... there are a lot of letters!!!!

Well, I'd better get hoppin'! My list is getting longer as I write this post! I'll report back soon, and post those recipes!
