Recipe: Homemade Hummus

Homemade Hummus
1 16oz can of chickpeas or garbanzos beans
1/4 c. liquid from can of chickpeas
3-5 TB lemon juice (depending on taste)
1/4 tsp. cumin
1 clove garlic, crushed
1/2 tsp salt
1 TBS olive oil

Drain chickpeas and set aside liquid from can. Combine remaining ingredients in blender or food processor. Add 1/4 c. liquid from chickpeas. Blend for 3-5 minutes. Add additional oil if dry.

I also added in some balsamic vinegar and ginger.... just add spices to taste.
