This weekend has been extremely delightful. I didn't have school on Friday.... an extra long weekend is always delightful. I've stayed up late, slept in late, cuddled with Hubby, spent two hours scouring Desert Industries (a second hand store) for costumes and props for my upcoming show, watched a couple of movies, finished a book, spent a wonderful afternoon in a LDS Temple, and to top it all off my adorable husband made my two favorite things for dinner... deer steak and homemade macaroni (or in this case penne) and cheese. I'm now nice and toasty warm in Hubby's Pac-Man pj's that I got him for Christmas last year (I think I wear them more than he does), I am a very content little lady tonight!
Today was a beautiful day. It snowed last night and everything appeared to be dusted with powdered sugar today. There are still lots of autumn leaves on the trees, so amidst the winter wonderland there were bursts of oranges, reds, and yellows. The slate blue mountains were also dusted in white. Houses looked like gingerbread houses. The sun was popping in and out behind clouds. Beautiful day! Mwa-ha!
Friday my theatre class turned in the fundraiser money.... we made more than I'd hoped to! I am so excited that I'm finally able to purchase things for the set, props, and costuming. One student brought in furniture from her neighborhood cleanup, and furnished almost the entire set. I bought a set of queen sized sheets at D.I. (Deseret Industries) for $3, dyed them blue, and on Monday I'm going to use the sheets to recover the spider home of a loveseat we are using on our set. It definitely needs a new cover. I'll try to take a before and after photo and post them on here.
Well, that's all from me tonight! I'm going to go do so more cuddling in bed while watching a movie. This is a Red Haired Girl signing off for the night.
